WHAT CHALLENGE DID THE CUSTOMER COME WITH?

Semmelweis University – András Pető Faculty – wanted to create an inclusive playground in the institute’s courtyard that would support the development of children with different abilities and needs. The key objective was to design a space that not only enables play but also supports therapeutic processes and integrates with the character of the institutional garden.

WHAT DID WE DO IN THE PROJECT?

Royal Kert proposed a specialised playground based on the Single, Active, and Mini collections. The design included equipment that develops motor and sensory skills, suitable for both play and therapeutic activities. The entire space was integrated into the institutional garden, creating a cohesive and functional environment that supports rehabilitation processes.

WHAT DID THE CUSTOMER GAIN FROM THE PROJECT?

Semmelweis University gained a modern, inclusive space that combines the function of a playground with a therapeutic tool. The playground supports the development of children with different abilities, enabling activity, rehabilitation, and integration in a safe and welcoming environment. It is a space that truly supports the institution’s daily work and enhances the quality of care and therapy provided.
