PRO-MB carried out a project for the Municipal Greenery Department in Katowice, aiming to transform the existing space into a modern playground. The goal was to create a space that would be inclusive, welcoming, and fully tailored to the needs of the local community. The project was based on eco-friendly materials and carefully considered the needs of children with disabilities. It’s a place where everyone – regardless of ability – can find their own favourite corner to play.
As part of the new playground equipment, we chose items from the Robinia Play collection, made from natural robinia wood – a durable, aesthetic and environmentally friendly material. The set was complemented by inclusive swings, a carousel, and a trampoline, allowing all children – including those who use wheelchairs – to enjoy playtime together.
PRO-MB delivered a renovated and newly equipped modern playground that responds perfectly to the needs of local residents. Children gained a safe, functional and diverse space for everyday outdoor play. Katowice has been enriched with an eco-friendly, inclusive playground.
