The real estate developer Eko Park Slow City in Katowice aimed to create a place that would become the heart of a new community. The “Slow & Fun” zone was designed as an inclusive space, accessible to everyone regardless of age or physical ability, while also fostering social connections by encouraging residents to spend time together outdoors. The key challenge was to design a space that would cater to the diverse needs of its users—from toddlers and teenagers to adults and seniors.
We approached this project with great care. At the heart of the playground is a custom-modified play set from the Ellipsum series, specially designed for inclusivity. Thanks to this, children with disabilities can play and interact with their peers, ensuring a truly shared experience.
The space also features trampolines and swings—timeless sources of joy for all ages. For those who love a challenge, we installed a climbing rope pyramid, helping children develop coordination and agility. Additionally, we created a dedicated fitness and street workout zone for teenagers and adults, promoting movement and a healthy lifestyle as an essential part of active recreation.
From design to installation, we paid attention to every detail to ensure the entire space aligns with the Slow City philosophy, creating a cohesive and functional environment for the community.
