A rocking device for the playground – an attraction for every child!

A playground, whether it is located on the grounds of a community park, a school or a hotel – should always be a place open to absolutely every child. Unfortunately, this is not always possible. Children with disabilities, unfortunately, many times do not have the slightest chance to play with the attractions available in their area. Companies engaged in creating equipment for toddlers in wheelchairs, mainly design machines, the use of which is possible only under the supervision of a guardian. Often these types of models are also fenced off from others and locked. At Buglo, the joy, but also the safety, of absolutely every child is of great importance to us. Therefore, we went a step further than the competition and designed a playground rocking device that can be used simultaneously by the youngest children in wheelchairs, but also by children without disabilities. Every user, regardless of potential limitations, will have a great time on the 1231, without the support of a parent. The design was constructed so that everyone feels comfortable and can socialize with their friends. While having fun together, 10 people can be on the machine at the same time. The playground rocking device is designed for users as young as one year old, all the way up to 12-year-olds.

Model 1231 – highlights for designers

The rocking device for the playground consists of 114 mm diameter steel tubes. The model is equipped with safe, ergonomic seats (made by rotomolding from LDPE-type material) and handles. The handrails and rods are stainless steel. The wall plates, in turn, were produced using transparent polycarbonate. The machine also includes aluminum (primarily in the connectors). The model can boldly be just a part of a larger space, designed with other sets from the Ellipsum collection. This is a series designed to integrate everyone – able-bodied and disabled children. Without restrictions, for the sake of the healthy development of each little one.
