It is the moment of the year everyone looks forward to. Our most important event, where we celebrate our values and recognise the employees who live by them every day. It is also a time for team integration and an opportunity to meet those who joined the most playful company in town – Buglo – over the past year. The evening also brings together colleagues from Denmark and Finland, representing our subsidiary companies, making it a true celebration of cross-cultural collaboration. Dancing, shared celebrations and moments of reflection – that, in a few words, is the Buglo Player Gala. This year’s Gala took place on 16 January at G38 in Koszalin. It was the only venue that could still accommodate us – this edition welcomed as many as 350 guests.
Each year, we make every effort to ensure the event surpasses previous editions. After every Gala, we collect feedback and carefully analyse participants’ opinions. Although the majority of responses are highly positive, our goal is always to achieve that unmistakable “wow” effect.
Buglo’s CEO, Bartosz Krzemiński, together with founder Łukasz Karaszewski, officially welcomed the guests before handing over the stage to hosts Kasia Wotawa and Marcin Girzejowski. Meanwhile, HR Director Hanna Macyra presented the results of the employee satisfaction survey.
During the official programme, we introduced several new features. One of them was a live camera capturing participants’ reactions to what was happening on stage. Thanks to it, we launched the Buglo Friendly Cam – our own friendly take on the classic kiss cam. Those appearing on screen shared hugs or high-fives. To enhance the dining experience, we organised a quiz show called Buglonerzy, testing employees’ reflexes and their knowledge of Buglo. Throughout the evening, a live band accompanied us on stage, highlighting the key moments of the event. The award ceremony hosts, Jacek Mamel and Krzysztof Rembeliński, appeared alongside dancers wearing masks featuring their likenesses.
One element that has remained unchanged since the very first edition of the Gala is the presentation of the Buglo Player awards. These are given to employees who receive the highest number of votes from their colleagues – individuals who stand out through their attitude, consistently embody Buglo’s values, and can always be relied upon. Awards were presented in two categories: Administration and Production. Statuettes were also awarded by employees of our subsidiaries, Elverdal and Leikkiset. Special awards were granted by the Buglo Management Board, as well as by the Marketing Department, which for the second year presented its own distinction – the Golden Propaganda Megaphone.
